Yes, interval rules are variant in each type of cricket. The interval between innings in T20 Internation matches typically stays between 10 and 20 minutes in length, shorter than usual because the format is a rush. Conversely, Test matches allow more time of lunch and tea breaks over five days. The time of innings break in ODI cricket is between these two formats at 45 minutes which balances endurance and amusement. ODIs take longer time than T20s and shorter than Tests, and hence the time is planned accordingly. Such a standardized timing will give uniformity in international tournaments. It is two days longer than T20s, which gives more room to make tactical changes, yet it does not make the match span two days. The interval structure of each format shows the pace, physical demands, and requirements of the schedule of broadcasting.
