The initial action to take when you get an Error 409 is to refresh the page so that you can get the current state of the resource at the server. This will make you realize what has changed. In most cases, the response of the server will contain information concerning the conflict. After that you should review the amendments and resubmit your request in this manner so as to clear the 409 Conflict.
