I'm still sitting here frustrated while waiting for roadside assistance, so I figured I'd write this post to get some advice for when I finally get home. I was leaving the Ansar Mall parking area in Sharjah this evening with my two kids in the back, buckled everyone in, turned the key and absolutely nothing happened. No crank, no click, just complete silence and then the dashboard lights went dim. The worst part was the temperature inside the car started rising within minutes and the kids were getting uncomfortable, so I had to get them out and stand outside in the heat while waiting for help. Honestly such a horrible experience and I never want to go through this again. The guy who came to give me a jump said my battery is completely finished and I shouldn't delay replacing it even by one day. I've been doing some searching on my phone while waiting and I cam across http://carbatteryreplacementsharjah.ae which looks like they specialize in exactly this kind of situation, but I'm not fully convinced yet because I've never used a mobile service before. I usually just go to whatever garage is closest when something breaks, but right now I don't even want to risk driving anywhere because I'm scared the car won't start again once I turn it off. Has anyone here actually used a mobile battery replacement service in Sharjah that came to their location and did the job properly? I don't care about paying a little extra, I just want someone who shows up on time, puts in a good quality battery that will last, and doesn't cause any damage to my car in the process. Also do these mobile guys usually carry batteries for Japanese cars like my Honda Accord or do I need to tell them the exact model beforehand? Really need some genuine recommendations from people who have actually been through this because I'm planning to get this sorted first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks in advance for any help.
