Hi everyone,
I'm planning to buy my first
samurai sword, but there are so many options that I'm not sure where to start. I've seen different blade materials like T10 steel, 1060 carbon steel, and folded steel, as well as various blade lengths and handle designs.
For someone who is just starting, what should I focus on when choosing a quality samurai sword? Is it better to buy one for display, collection, or light practice? Also, are hand-forged swords worth the extra cost?
