I’ve noticed one thing on almost every job site… most delays don’t happen during the build, they actually start way before the project even kicks off. When the planning is rushed, the whole timeline gets shaky later.
A lot of contractors I talk to say the same thing missing quantities, wrong material assumptions, or not having a clear budget early on ends up slowing everything down. That’s why more people now are leaning toward using cost estimating services right from the start. It just clears the picture, so you know what’s coming instead of guessing your way through it.
Anyone else feel the project goes way smoother when the estimate is done properly at the beginning? Curious to hear your experiences with pre-construction planning.
