I have been searching for book illustration services for a children's title I am working on and the challenge is not finding illustrators it is finding one who genuinely engages with the story rather than just producing something that looks technically fine but misses the feeling completely. A writer I know mentioned Self Publishing Book UK and said the illustration team spent real time understanding the characters tone and audience before any artwork began and the author stayed involved throughout until everything felt right.
