If you are unsure of your system specs and excited to know how to see what RAM I have, you can view it in the built-in tools. On Windows, open up Task Manager, then on the Performance tab, press the Memory button to see this information, such as total RAM, speed, and slots in use. System Information will also provide you with more technical information. On the Mac, choose About This Mac, and under the Memory section, the type and size that is installed can be viewed. This will come in handy when you intend to upgrade or troubleshoot performance problems.
