I'm considering redecorating my living room and need honest opinions about furniture choices. I have two cats and a dog, which makes selecting the right sofa challenging. I've seen some beautiful options online and I'm particularly drawn to a
crushed velvet corner sofa for my space, but I'm worried about how well it would hold up with pets jumping on it constantly. Will the fabric pill or tear easily?
How does pet hair stick to velvet compared to other materials like microfiber or linen? Can I use a lint roller or vacuum without damaging the nap of the fabric? Are there protective treatments I should apply beforehand? Also, if accidents happen, how stain resistant is crushed velvet really? Would washable covers help, or would they look cheap? I'd really appreciate feedback from pet owners who have experience with velvet furniture.
